Founded by Patrick Mellen and David Rodwin in response to 9/11, Raw Impressions, Inc. had a five year mission to inspiring artists to be prolific with excellence, introducing artists to new collaborators and supporting them through to premiere in a speedy development process free from commercial pressures - so our artists could just be artists.

Raw Impressions and its divisions Music Theatre, Dance and Film (RIPFest) produced 170 ten-minute musicals, 60 short films (mostly movie musicals) and 18 dance pieces from 2001-2006.
