VIRTUAL MOTION is cutting-edge, movement-driven music-theatre. 'Laurie Anderson meets John Moran.'

It's a live-action cartoon, post-minimalist, rock-opera. It's fun. It's funny. It's a heartbreaking work of live hi-tech intimacy.

Its jigsaw-puzzle narrative has a tragic love story at its heart, but nothing else is traditional about VIRTUAL MOTION.

It's is half sung and half lip-synched. Its score weaves together live instrumentals, electronic samples and sound effects - both hyper-realistic and cartoon. Movement matches this exaggerated environment. The sound design is so specific, it creates a visual landscape in people's minds on a virtually empty stage.

VIRTUAL MOTION thrives by engaging the audience emotionally while simultaneously incorporating humor throughout. It's an immersion into a theatrical dream which completely captivates the audience.

David, the composer and writer is the also the only performer. Both the fun and the virtuosity come from this. In this dreamlike journey, he jumps from one role to the next so quickly that you still see and hear the other characters.

It's as easy to describe the experience as it is to describe The Blue Man Group, Stomp or Mummenshanz.
